NCI Cancer Bulletin publication ends

January 22, 2013

Dear NCI Cancer Bulletin Subscriber,

We are writing to let you know that the NCI Cancer Bulletin online newsletter will no longer be published. The decision was made as part of the National Cancer Institute’s ongoing efforts to examine how best to apportion its limited cancer research resources.

Our final issue, published January 8, will remain live until the end of the month. Our searchable archive of more than 5,000 news and feature stories published since 2004 will remain on NCI’s website, cancer.gov.

The editors, writers, and technical staff of the NCI Cancer Bulletin are grateful for your interest in our publication and for your support over the last 9 years. It has been our distinct pleasure to have brought you the latest news about cancer research—including research supported by NCI, other federal agencies, and institutions from across the nation and around the world.

We hope you will continue to look to NCI for cancer research news and information by visiting cancer.gov and using NCI’s social media channels on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.

Summaries highlighting recent results from cancer clinical trials that are likely to influence clinical practice and summaries of featured clinical trials supported by NCI will continue to be produced and published on cancer.gov.

Please feel free to send us your comments at ncicancerbulletin@mail.nih.gov.

Thank you again and best regards,
The NCI Cancer Bulletin Team
